About us

Thoughtful gifts, crafted between Nepal and Australia

MulberiLove connects the skill of independent Nepalese artisans with the warmth of Australian gifting traditions. We believe the best gifts carry craft, story, and care in equal measure.

Our story

A bridge between two worlds

MulberiLove began with a simple observation: the gift boxes lining Australian shop shelves felt disconnected. Mass-produced, wrapped in plastic, and emptied of meaning. Meanwhile, across Nepal, artisans were creating extraordinary things — hand-thrown mugs, wild-harvested tea, handmade paper — with skills honed over lifetimes.

We set out to bridge that gap. To bring the texture, heritage, and intention of Nepalese craft into Australian gifting moments — birthdays, milestones, thank-yous, and the quiet gestures that say “I thought of you.”

Every MulberiLove box is a collaboration. We work directly with makers and cooperatives, visiting workshops, tasting teas, and choosing products by hand. Nothing is mass-ordered. Nothing is anonymous. When you give a MulberiLove gift, you're giving something with a name and a story attached.

What we stand for

Our values

These aren't aspirations — they're how we operate, from sourcing to delivery.

Craft heritage

Preserving Nepalese artisan traditions — hand-thrown ceramics, lokta paper, and Dhaka weaving passed down through generations.

Ethical sourcing

Fair wages paid directly to makers. Sustainable, natural materials sourced locally in Nepal. No middlemen.

Thoughtful gifting

Every box is curated with intention. We pair products that tell a story and arrive ready to give.

Community impact

Supporting women-led cooperatives and independent artisans building economic independence through craft.

Our process

How we source and curate

Our curation process begins in Nepal. We visit artisan workshops, cooperatives, and small farms — tasting, touching, and understanding each product before it earns a place in our collection. We prioritise makers who use natural materials, pay fair wages, and take pride in their craft.

Products are imported in small batches to keep things fresh and seasonal. In Australia, we assemble gift boxes by hand, pairing items that complement each other in texture, scent, and story. Every box is wrapped in recycled and recyclable materials, with a handwritten-style note printed on lokta paper.
